Vuotava katto

Etenkin keväisin lumien sulaessa saattaa kattosi paljastaa sinulle viheliäisen yllätyksen. Vuotava katto ei kuitenkaan missään nimessä aina tarkoita mitään suurempaa kattoremonttia. Jos näet selvän kattovuodon, kattaa ensimmäiseksi tarkastaa:
1. Näkyykö katolla selvää reikää?
2. Ovatko lumet kasautuneet / jäätyneet sauman kohdalle?
3. Ovatko kattoruuvit tai naulat nousseet ylöspäin?
4. Onko katollasi jääpato, joka estää sulamisveden poistumisen ja vesi juoksee kattojen alle?

Useissa tapauksissa vuotava katto selviää jo omalla ensiavullasi. Vanhentunut katto voi vaatia ja uudistamista, jonka yhteydessä on hyvä ratkaista myös eteen tulleet ongelmat esim. sulamisvesien suhteen.
